Black Mystery Episode 3

“So who is the professor who borrowed the CCTV recordings?” 

Ollie asked as I told things I had learned while talking to the custodian. 

“I don’t know.. but the custodian told me that she is now in the laboratory B.”

“Okay, then what are we waiting for? Let’s go to laboratory B!”

Knock. Knock. “Hello? Is anyone there?” I said as I knocked on the laboratory’s door.

“Yes, come in.” said someone in the lab. 

“Good afternoon. I heard you have the CCTV recordings. Borrowed from the custodians?

Can I please borrow it for a moment? I need that for the investigation.” 

“Oh, yes, I have the CCTV recordings but I don’t think I can…” 

she slowly dropped saying her words. And I knew why. “Ellie? Ellie Williams?” She said, panicking. 

“Oh, um, hi, Lucy.” I said. Lucy is my step sister but we are not really close. 

“What investment!?” Lucy demanded. 

“You’re working on this lab?”

“Yeah, and what’s this about the investment?”

“Can I borrow the CCTV recordings?” I asked.

“Yes, but do you have any proof that I can give this to you?”

“Of course!” I replied a little startled. Then, I handed her my badge as a Utopia’s detective and the paperwork I had finished with Alina. Then after a few minutes,

Lucy let me look at the CCTV recordings. And I was surprised by what's in there. 

There was a man wearing a black clothes getting the fossil out of its cage and quickly getting out of the museum through the celing’s velux window. 

“We need to open a trial for this mystery” I said to Ollie.

“And we need to find who's behind this.” 

But, then, I didn’t know what Lucy had known and why she had the recording.
