 For the first time in the year, Dane Levis would be having a good time. She couldn't remember how much she had been happy-because there were so few.

 Because of her name, Dane Levis was suffering a terrible stress. All the other classmates-even his younger brother, Justin Levis- teased her with her name ('Dane' also means 'Great Dane', one of the dog breeds)-by calling her 'Doggie Levis'. 

 She wasn't a girl who didn't like her name-she was a girl who HATED her name. According to her parents, her name SHOULD be Jane Levis, but it was ruined by her daddy.

 When her father scribbled her name on her birth certificate, everybody but her father recognized it as 'Dane Levis' because of his bad, scribbly handwriting.

 All of her parents were still alive, but her life was as miserable as a girl with NO parents-she felt emphathy with Harry Potter, who was raised by cruel relatives.

 But that wasn't important anymore. She would be happy in the amusement park with her family, forgetting all about her sore memories.

 But something-something most miserable which can happen to you-happened on the trip to amusement park, too. All of them never reached their goal.

 While their car was stuck in the trafic jam, Dane Levis imagined what to do at the amusement park. One thing was sure in her mind-it would never be miserable. She was excited, for the first time in the year. 

 The trafic jam loosened a bit, so the family's car sped a little bit. But there was enough cars to block the father's sight....

 A gigantic double-decker, no, a TRIPLE-decker was in the trafic jam, but it seemed as if the bus itself was crazy- it was, kind of 'swaying' as it moved. 

 Her father could see it. 

 "Looks like the driver's drunk, isn't...."

 But he couldn't finish the sentence. He didn't saw it was speeding toward THEM. Dane couldn't, too. There were too many cars to see where the gigantic wheels were heading. 

 A piercing scream filled Dane's ears, and the whole of the landscape disolved into the darkness as the wheels crushed them flat.

 Dane Levis could see nothing,feel nothing, remember nothing till she opened her eyes again. It was like a very long, deep, dreamless sleep. Not one part of her body was sore. She could remember what happened still, but the memory was blurry-it seemed like a dream.

 Nothing, except her, was drifting in the dark, misty place. As though nothing was seen, she heard a voice-a boy's voice. 

 "Hey, are you all right?"

 And someone-probably the speaker- emerged from the steam. Dane couldn't believe her eyes. A second before, nothing was there. Now, she was facing some kind of.... spirit?

 Two other voices-also boys- echoed from the landscape, as though there was a conversation. Then the speakers emerged. Now, there were all three in total.

 Three boys, almost of the same height, and excactly in same clothes. The black, long gowns they were wearing, looked like as if they belonged to the judges in the courtroom. One of the boys' hair was coal-black(the first one emerged), and neat. One other had flamy red hair and wore glasses. The last one had a blue hair like the Pacific Ocean, and his deep-looking glances did not quiver. 

 "I am Alex. Alex Janis."

 The boy with neat black hair said in a strange, echoing voice. He continued as he introduced the others.

 "This guy is Derric. R. Johns(he glanced at the blue-haired boy), and he is Nicole Shafen(the red-headed boy said 'hi' in strange, spainish intonation)."

 Dane had plenty to ask. But even before she could say one word, Derric Johns stepped forward.

 "Just calm down. You wouldn`t be having much time. One. Your soul left the Before-Death world, and so did your family."

 Dane wanted to ask if she could see them, but Derric spoke faster then her.

 "NO(his steady voice became a bit more harsh at the instant)!"

 "Two. You're not a human anymore. You are now not a GIRL. You are-all of us are-what the humans call DEVILS, a female devil, in your case."

 Dane Levis, the devil, stayed there, rooted to the spot. Shocked, she couldn't move her body. She WOULDN'T move, as long as she stayed as a devil.
