Episode 3: Chasing 'Carlo'

"Let's get him!" shouted Issac, and before Gemma could even think of her super-smart plan, Issac was out of sight.

"Hey!" yelled Gemma. "Where did he go?" then she spotted her brother racing after the car. She sighed. "Will I ever get to form a plan?"

* * *

Meanwhile, Issac was flying after Carlo's car with his Magnetic powers that lifted him off the ground.

The car was driving so fast, Issac could barely catch up. And Gemma was even slower. She'll never get to where he-

Just then the window of the car slid open, and out came Gemma's head!

Issac was so surprised, his jaws fell open, and he was about to say something, but Gemma gave him a sign to be quiet and then sliped back into the car.

A second later, the car screeched to a halt, and Carlo burst out, followed by Gemma.

"Agh, you super siblings are back. But don't bother chasing me because I won't be caught!" Carlo shouted with a terrible cackle.

"Your laugh might cause a bad earache for you and me, dear sir," teased Gemma.

Carlo's face turned red, and suddenly, he rocketed into the air, flames shooting out of the bottom of his boots.

"Yikes!" cried Gemma. "I didn't know that he could fly. Did you?" she turned to where Issac had been, but he was gone.

"Well, he went chasing without me-AGAIN!" Gemma grumbled.

At the same time, Issac saw Carlo landing atop a tall skyscraper. He shot his electrical rope.

Carlo jumped away, and the rope disappeared into the lightning rod.

Issac greeted his teeth. "Stop right there!" he yelled. Carlo shot into the air once more. Issac glided swiftly after him.

Then Carlo stopped in midair, and Issac almost crashed into him. Carlo pulled out an iron club and swung it around like a baseball bat.

"Ha-ha-ha!" he laughed, and then...suddenly the club wiggled out of his hand and landed on Issac's magnets.

Issac hurled the club at the villain. He dived out of the way, and the club sailed down onto the blacktop, smashing into pieces.

The lady with a dog passing by gasped and looked up. "Look! Super Jack, he's back!" she cried excitedly.

Issac dived toward Carlo. They tumbled downed together onto the crowd of people.

"Aah!" all the people ran away as the superhero and the villain plunged toward the blacktop, fighting and arguing.

Suddenly, a new figure pushed through the crowd and kicked at the villain falling right toward her.

Startled, Carlo didn't had time to land safely on the hard ground. He lost his grip on Issac and crashed head down onto the blacktop, his goggles flying off his face.

"Ha!" Issac landed beside his proud sister. "We've got you now, Carlo!"

The villain groaned, lying on the ground. He looked puzzled as he stared at Gemma and Issac. "Who are you calling Carlo?" he asked.

"Huh?" both super heros blurted out in the same time. "You're not Carlo?"

"Of course I'm not, I've never been!" the villain looked annoyed.

Gemma scratched her head. She couldn't figure it out even with her super intelligence.

"Who are you then?" Issac demanded, narrowing his eyes at the mysterious man.

"I am Gregory, twin brother of Carlo, and I'm proud to be who I am!"

Everyone let out a gasp. "So the real Carlo..." stammered Issac.

"Yeah, yeah, I should have known," Gemma looked upset. "This person wasn't Carlo after all."

"The real Carlo..." Issac still looked confused and surprised.

"He is still hiding away somewhere, that's the truth, silly!" Gemma said, not much of a joke.

The ambulance soon came and carried Gregory away, and the super siblings were off, determined to find to real Carlo this time.
