                                                Super girl Dorothy: Birthday thief!

                                            Chapter 4: The final plan- Mission accomplished?

 Dorothy and Nancy, Vanca and everybody else ran downstairs. "There he is!" Vanca pointed. A man with a coat was on the phone,

"Do you think it`s really him?" Vidia asked. Dorothy shrugged. "We`re not sure, but he seems kind of suspicious. He will be our first suspect on the list." Dorothy read his mind. "He has nothing on his mind, though. Maybe he`s happy, but trying to erase that feeling because he thinks someone who can read minds really well thinks that he or she can read his mind." All the kids agreed with Dorothy.

Nancy scratched her head. "Now what?" Vidia said. "Wait." Vanca said. "This dosen`t make sense at all. Why would a grown up, especially a man, would steal a girl`s pencils?" Dorothy shrugged. "Probably to give them to his children?" She suggested. Nancy seemed to understand. "Anyway, we have to keep suspecting, in secret." Dorothy got an idea. She walked over to the man. "Hot day, isn`t it?" It was pretty hot for a winter day. The man nodded. "Why don`t you take off your coat?" Dorothy asked. "Good advice, girl."

He grinned. He took off his coat. Dorothy returned back to the group. "What was that all about?" Her friends asked. Dorothy grinned. "He`s not the thief!" She grinned. "How do you know that?" One of her friends asked. "The pencils are in a big box. He had nowhere but to hide it in his coat. He took off his coat and there were no pencils!" The friends all looked surprised. "Amazing!" Vidia said. Nancy looked impressed. "Let`s move on." Vanca said. "Do you have any suspects?" Nancy asked. Dorothy shook her head. "No." Her friends said. "Who did steal our pencils?" Nancy asked. Just then, a rabbit ran by. The rabbit had a half-broken pencil in its mouth. Dorothy gasped. "Let`s follow it!" Nancy said. The rabbit started to run away. The kids followed. And there were..."Pencils!" Everyone exclaimed.
