There are so many, various types of sports in the world, such as Soccer, Baseball, Swimming, and Skating. I used to like soccer, badminton, swimming and skating, but what if I had to choose only one sport to be an expert in it? If I could get amazing at one sport, I would definitely choose Basket Ball.
I didn't know much about Basket ball until I was 15 years old. I was a girl who liked soccer, not basket ball. In fact, I kind of disliked basket ball even though I didn't know why. It just seemed so dull to me at that age, and it seemed strange to me that you have to dribble the ball with your hands, not like soccer.
So how did I get acquainted with Basket ball? When I was 13 years old, I started taking soccer lessons from the soccer teacher in school. Before 13, I was never interested in sports with a "ball". But mom suggested that I tried learning, and eventually I was learning soccer. I learned soccer for almost 2 years, until my mom suggested basket ball. An older girl who was in my school asked me to learn basket ball together, and since I have never tried it, I decided to give it a try.
I didn't think basket ball was fun until then, but after the first lesson basket ball became an exciting sport to me. I love dribbling, shooting, and the thrill that washes over me when I score. I do not think that I am very good at basket ball, but I think I am good in rebounding the ball.
Now, I really love basket ball, even more than I love soccer. Though my soccer skills have dropped from since when I learned basket ball. If I become the best in basket ball in the world, I want to play in teams in USA like Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls.
It would be really good to be a number one in a sport. I would feel proud of myself and I would be confident when I play. If I really were a professional, number one in basket ball in the world, I could almost be as famous as Michael Jordan!
