"What? I've gotta go to an audition?" Mila asked by screaming. Mr. Jubel nodded. Then he reminded her to wear new clothes. "You should change your shoes too," Mrs. Jubel offered. "Okay. I'm gonna be the best!" Mila added. "You sure will do," her father agreed. "Cool!" Mila exclaimed. "I look pretty. Isn't it?" "Of course!" Mrs. Jubel replied. "Really?" Mila asked. "Really!" Mr. Jubel answered. "Thanks, Mother and Father. I wanna go fast right now!" Mila explained. She rushed out of the front door and jogged to the theater for the audition. **** At the theater, there were lots of people for the audition. "But why did Mother and Father put me in an audition?" Mila thought by wondering. Lots of people were cheering and hooting. "You can do it, honey!" a young woman shrieked. Just then, a handsome, young man walked out of the theater. "I'm Mr. Darrie, the owner of this theater. Are you here for the audition?" he asked. "Yes!" the contestants squealed. Mila stood quietly. "What if I fail? Oh well, I'll try again," she thought. "This audition is like a contest. So the winners who win this audition will get prizes to leave home for two years and go to a camping to be a musical actor!" Mr. Darrie declared. "Wow!" the contestants said. Mila held her breath as Mr. Darrie checked the contestants. Mila glanced around. She stared at some contestants. Then she peeked through Mr. Darrie's clipboard. She saw her name; 'Mila Jubel'. "Whew!" she thought. **** After the auditions were over, Mr. Darrie began to say the winners. "The winners are......," He paused and checked his clipboard. The contestants, including Mila, held their breaths. Mr. Darrie said a few contestants and checked at his clipboard again. "......And Mila Jubel!" he announced. "Yes!" Mila thought. "I'm going to tell my parents right now!" She dashed to home. "Mother, Father! I won the audition contest!" she said. "Oh my, daughter! We knew you could do it!" Mr. Jubel said.
