Zann's breath came in ragged gasps as he walked through the walkway. He could feel thousands of eyes gazing at him. He did his best to avoid eye contact, but it wasn't easy.
Where was he? Why was he walking?
He scanned around and found Perda, Gliss and Darb walking like puppets he had to stop to ask why he was walking but he couldn't stop He had to stop... he had to.. had to... What?
"Zann?" a voice called. It sounded distant and faint.
Zann's heart jumped with hope. He knew that voice!
"Boz" he shouted. "Where are you? Boz!"
Boz passed away a few months ago and Zann wasn't coping very well he always felt depressed and empty.
"Zann! Help!" another voice called this time it was Perda
He looked where he last saw Perda but didn't see her
"Zann!" she called again. "Zann!"
"Zann!"
Zann opened his eyes and saw his friend hanging from his window.
"Perda? What are you doing?" Zann asked helping Perda into his room.
"Don't you remember? You promised me that you would explore the wormhole with me"
"Right"
It was the first day of his school holiday and he had promised Perda to explore the wormhole.
"Now I don't want to waste any time so get dressed."
"We're going to go now?" Zann asked startled
"Yes"
"But I just got up"
"That's your fault you said..."
"Right I said"
