Sarah

I am a rich kid, and when I say that, not in a rude way.

People think being rich is the best gift they can have in their life. 

Not me.

Let me ask you a question.

Would you rather have your parents come from work but not rich, or you would be rich but you would be alone.

No friends, no family, no one to spend time with you.

When I see someone shopping with their parents, I feel envy.

Envy of the laugh, envy of the smile, envy of the time they spend together.

That is all I want.

Sarah went to school.

Going to school, isn't walking, nor riding a bus or bike.

She had a professional driver to drive her to school.

She had a fancy car, but no one to ride with.

Sarah usually did everything alone.

Eating, studying, everything alone.

Sarah didn't laughed usually, since no one kept her entertaining. 

Sarah was in high school now, 14.

A girl smirked with her friends as she walked out of her car.

"Look at the spoiled rich kid."

"She is wearing one of her fancy dress."

Sarah felt bored everyday.

And sometimes sadness filled her.

She sometimes even spent holidays alone.

Holidays are fun for everyone, but for Sarah, it is quite the oppsite.

Lucy

Every time I see that girl, Sarah, or whatever, she look so spoiled from the beggining.

She does everything with her special servents. 

For me, not going very well.

I feel envy of Sarah, she is always wearing those fancy clothes to school, when I just weares baggy jeans and normal shirts.

I also heared that she has her own chef, who makes meals for her.

She is also spoiled at everything, and thinking that she can solve her problems with money.

She even has one of those drivers to drive for her, while I bike to school with my friend.

I feel envy, but on the other hand, she is spoiled.

Three more days until my birthday.

I am so excited to see my dad again.

My mom passed away when I was a kid, and my dad is working in a different country.

He sometimes send lots of presents to me when my birthdays comes.

I know he makes lots of money.

But I really need him for this special birthday for my 15tth birthday.

Or I am spending my time with no one, except my servents.

I mean I like them, but I need more than that.

Happiness, joy, fun, like a normal person.

That is just what I need.

Sarah called her dad.

It took a few minutes until her dad answered.

"Dad?" Sarah said. "Are you coming to my birthday party in a few days?"

"...." Her dad said nothing, not looking into her eyes.

"Why?" Sarah cried. "Can't you just come for one day?"

"You know, this is really important for me." Her dad said. "Also I am working for you."

"So you put your work over your daughter." With that she closed the call.
