 -This novel is based on Star's novel, <DIE>. -

 The entrance looked rather small, but the inside of the cage was vast. Fire-like sensation filled the air, as the hot, bubbling lava radiated the red-hot glow which filled the cave. Dane had a weird feeling that someone was screaming inside the cave. 

 The narrow roads, like the one which led them into the hell, could be seen everywhere around the hell. every one of them were placed on the cliff-like, very stiffly carved rocks. Some of them reached into the lava and became a cliff, while the others just hang suspended, in midair. The sight of the hanging roads(or bridges) reminded Dane her first ever(and also last)experience of crossing a long viaduct which connected the two peeks of gigantic, towering mountaion.

 "You'll be climbing this viaducts every time."

 Derric spoke, his eyes half-closed, as casually as ever.

 'Surely, this guy reads my mind.'

 Soon, Dane Levis noticed that she and her devilish friends were standing much higher than they entered. Probably 200 meters higher. Or more. There wasn't any staircases, or upheading slopes. But surprisingly, they were standing at the very top viaduct of all criss-crossing tangles of rocks and cliffs.

 There were more 'top' viaducts. All six of them started at six different corners of the ceiling of the cave, and ended at the same place.

 A large piece of rock, which looked like a piece of an icicle, hung in the middle, as though it kept suspended by the bound of the viaducts. Something which looked like a building was placed on the flat top of the rock. Alex pointed at it.

 "Let's go, quick. Now we shall report our newcomer."

 Alex said, rather to Nic(from now on, we'll call Nicole like this) and Derric than Dane.

 The four of them(just to remind you, Alex, Nic, Derric and Dane)hurried along the viaduct they were standing on(Dane was surprised at how springy it was), and soon ran onto the giant rock where the builiding stood. The fiery sign read,

THE HELLQUATER



 'Not funny at all. Headquater plust hell?!'

 Dane thought. Hell jokes were rather clumsey.

 A man with glaring eyes were sitting in what looked like a ticket office, except there was no walls between in and out. His hair was pitch black, and as the three young male devils brought her closely to him, he narrowed his eyes.

 "So, you, Derric! You predicted that we will recieve a newcomer here. I see that you have brought some person, I say. Now I started to doubt your discrimination. This girl, weak-minded, tearful, feeble? Probably go and ask Heaven if they need any underservant angel, I say? They will be happy to recieve this girl."

 Dane felt anger surging through her, but could not show it. Derric, the most calm-minded guy she knew among person and devil, seemed to quiver with hatred, too.

 "She will be perfect for this place." That's all Derric spoke.

 The tall devil glared at Dane for seconds, drumming his fingers on the edge of his desk. Then he finally spoke.

 "So, girl. What is your name?" 

 "Dane, sir."

 She said through her gritted teeth.

 The tall devil suddenly bent over, smirking. Nicole seemed to stifling his laughter very hard. Alex frowned slightly. But still, Derric's face did not even twitch.

 "What is your last name?"

 The tall devil asked again, but this time wearing smug look in his face. Dane clutched her fists, but did nothing else.

 "Levis, sir."

 She said, compressing the anger surging inside her hard.

 "So, you will be 'Levis the Dreadful'."

 "WHAT?"

 Dane cried out, both surprised and shocked by the word, 'dreadful'.

 The tall devil glinted his eyes maliciously before he said,

 "Okay. So you want Doggie the Dreadful?"

 "No, sir."
