Beatrice & Olympus_25

Three children walked quietly, admiring the view of the beautiful cave. Soon, they reached to some kind of big, glowing river.

"Oh, it's so beautiful. I can't beileve Hera built this place."

Beatrice murmured. Andrea shook her head.

"No. She built this whole place with Hapheastus."

She said. But Beatrice was confused.

"What? But... "

"Yeah, I know. She betrayed him."

Andrea shrugged. Beatrice was surprised by gods' action to others. They betrayed others easily, and she couldn't get used to that fact.

"By the way, how we ever pass this big river?"

Antonio cut in impatiently.

"Look! There is a boat. Let's cross the river with it."

Beatrice pointed at the small wooden boat near the river. They ran to the boat. First, Antonio climbed to it and checked its safety. Than, he helped Beatrice climbed in, but not Andrea.

"Hey, help me get in there too! This is no time for joking."

Andrea complained. Beatrice giggled, and helped her get in the boat.

Antonio rowed the boat, and three children talked about what just happened to them.

"Andrea, how did you know that there is a secret door in the wall? When a Cyclops was chasing us."

Beatrice suddenly asked. Andrea chuckled loudly.

"Haha! Yeah, Hera taught me that. How funny! I used my memory on urgent time!"

Beatrice smiled too. They continued their happy travel for a while.

Suddenly, three figures stepped into view. No, they swam into view.

"Mermaids?!"

Beatrice frowned.

"No, they aren't!"

Antonio went pale. Andrea looked scared.

"They are...."

"Sirens!!"

Antonio and Andrea spat the word.

Beatrice gasped. She remembered that on social studies class. Sirens are monsters, just looked like Mermaids.

"They sing songs and attract people. And bring them to danger, right?!"

Beatrice almost seemed to cry.

"Exactly right!! But please be quiet now! They are coming closer! Hurry! Cover your ears!"

Andrea screamed.

Sirens came closer, and closer, singing with their magnificent voice. They kept singing when they reached to sea. River ended, and sea was in front them. Light shoned the whole group.

Beatrice grimaced with horrible, strange pain. The Siren's sound was beautiful, but also dangerous.

But suddenly, more strange thing happened. Sirens jumped out of the salty sea water, and swam into different directions. They looked kind of scared.

Beatrice was glad, but Andrea and Antonio's face went even more pale.

"Oh no! Here comes another sea monster! And it's even more dangerous than Sirens!!"

Antonio cried out.
