Making the Oath





The night was very deep, but Yujin was out at her school, waiting for Enyoung and Soi. Actually, Yujin was feeling little, no very scared. She kicked a little stone to keep her from freaked out, but it won't help her very much. Maybe the more she was scared was because the weather was too chilly despite it was only September. A crambling sound was coming from the bushes near their school.. Yujin thought something was odd and looked quickly. But nothing was there. Soon, Enyoung came rushing toward her with Soi. "Sorry I'm late!" Yujin fixed her word, "You mean 'Sorry we're late.' Isn't it right?" Soi felt chill from Yujin's voice and asked, "Is something wrong?" Yujin snorted, "Nothing is wrong of course! Execpt you two came really late, 30 minutes later compared to when I arrived. And execpt I heard something.. From that bush." She pointed shivering. Soi gulped, "I think.. I heard something from there too.. Right now.." Enyoung shruged. "I didn't hear anything." Soi shook her head frantically. "No.. I'm really sure I heard something.. And my ears are bright compared to our age girls." Yujin nodded with agreement. "I belive in Soi's. I'm really sure she heard something. There is no reason at all why she would lie to us.." Enyoung nodded. "I guess so. But just remember! I didn't heard anything at all!" Yujin nodded, but her sights were fixed at the bushes. "Is that bush bushling, or is it only my guess?" Enyoung shrugged. "Don't know. But let's get inside. It's shivering cold out here.. And I'm little scared too. We should finish our oath quickly and go home. After all, the reason we assembled here is to make an oath, right?"

Soi nodded. "Yep.. It's kind of chilly I guess." Yujin shook her head. "I think, we should investigate more about that bush. It's kind of odd that bush is moving.." Enyoung shrugged again, "I said, I'm not sure. It may just be your imagination." Yujin said, her eyes still fixed at the bush which just moved a little. "Girls.. Look.. It's getting close to us.." By now, Enyoung and Soi can see the difference. The bush was definately coming toward the girls, an inch at a time.. Slowly but constantly.. Yujin, Enyoung and Soi all screamed at once, and ran toward the school building. "Girls.. What was that?!" Soi gasped. Yujin was still panting but replied, "Don't know at all! Maybe.." Enyoung's face went all white. "Girls.. Look.. Outside the window.." By now, the moon was high above the sky, making the school yard bright because it was a full moon. Because of this big bright full moon, the girls can see clearly through the window what Enyoung was talking about.. The bush was still approaching toward them! It was almost infront of the school door, and the three girls rushed toward their classroom. Soi shivered, "It's more chilly and spooky here.. Maybe we'll just have to make the oath at the school poarch. Anyway, our first plan was that, aren't I right?" Enyoung nodded too. "I guess something's going on at this school tonight. Maybe, we'll just have to do the oath at our house. It would be more safer and less scarier than doing it here. If you won't agree, let's just do it tomorrow." Yujin shook her head. "Are you girls crazy? What's wrong with you guys! Or, are you just scared?! At the school poarch, that bush is still approaching, and tomorrow it will rain hard. At least, the weather caster said like that. And at your house Enyoung? You're parents will see what we're doing, and it won't be a secret oath at all!"

Yujin continued still frustrated. "If you girls aren't brave to make an oath at midnight, just go home then. I don't need a coward friend!" Soi opened her mouth, "I guess you are right. I read that to make strong oath to leave it forever, there isn't any oath as powerful as midnight oath! And, there is no more chance than first time. Let's do it now." Enyoung looked still scared, but shurgged and nodded with agreement. "But let's do it quickly, okay?" She said. Yujin and Soi nodded. Yujin started the oath. "Make an oath!" She spoke quitely, but clearly raising her right hand. Enyong and Soi do as the same. "First!" "First!" The two girls echoed. "Us, Yujin, Enyoung and Soi will be best friends forever, even if we become old. First!" Yujin continued. "First!" Girls echoed again. "We will never disbelieve anyother from now on. First!" Enyoung and Soi echoed again, "First!" "We can't born together, but can die together. To prove our friendship, will die together when any of us dies. First!" "First!" "We'll keep this oath secret until we die. August 19th, 2019. Yujin." And Yujin put her hand down. Enyoung and Soi put their hand down too. Yujin said, "Now, we'll have to make signature here.. Sign it." The girls did as they were told. Now it was the blood oath step. The girls scratched their skin with knife that they prepared, and dropped their blood to the pot, about 10 dropplets each. Yujin mixed the blood and the girls poke the blood with their fingers and ate it. This was because eating others blood will make them together forever. Now it's the last step. The turn on the candle that they prepared, and repeated the earlier oath again, circling the candle. Yujin, who leaded this oath turned off the candle by blowing it. But they never knew.. Someone was watching them from outside.
