The School Art Festival
Last Tuesday, our school had a school art festival. I participated in the festival, too. The event I participated was the recorder ensemble. More than 80 students practiced the recorders in a very small area. We didn't just practice playing the recorder, but we also practiced admission and workout. Sometimes we practiced on the real stage with the real lights shining toward us.
At last the school festival started. In the morning, we watched the others' performances. Some were good, some were great, some were even better, some were cute (just cute), and some were boring. My little brother, Young Joon, participated in playing the handbell.
I tried to find him, but I failed.
At 11:20 a.m., the 13th performance finally ended, and it was our turn! As the music started, we marched out of the waiting room and onto the stage. I hid my recorder in my sleeve. When it was time, the recorder came out of my sleeve (with my help) and we started playing.
After the performance, we went back to our seats and enjoyed the other performances. I enjoyed the DPH performances especially.
Do you remember the Dream-Passion-Happiness contest? The contest which I participated. Sad to say, but our team had failled.
I watched the DPH performances and discussed which were different from mine and theirs. And they were really different. The first performance
But there was an accident. A small piece of aluminum broke out from the ceilling and fell onto one student's head! And that unlucky student was one of my best friends. I was so shocked. I heard that he is well now. I hope an accident like this would never happen again.
