Making Iron Plate Ice Cream
Monday, September 4, 2017
Today, I went to my friend's house. We were all hungry after all that writing and drawing at school. My friend said, "Let's make iron plate ice cream!" I was happy. I love iron plate ice-cream. The ingredients were chocolate cookies, whipping cream, milk, and honey. We needed a frozen iron plate, two rollers, a mixing bowl, and spoons to eat!
The iron plate was frozen. It was in the refrigerator for almost 2 weeks! I know a little bit about how to make iron plate ice cream, but I'm not good at it. One of my friends and I cracked the chocolate cookies. Another made the mixture: two-thirds of a cup of milk plus, three big spoons of whipping cream, and one big spoon and a half of honey. Now, it's time to mix, mix, mix!
Calmly, I smashed the cookies then put a few of them into the mixture, just to wet the cookies. If it freezes, put more into the mixture. If that freezes, put more in again. Then we mixed wildly with the rollers. Then we stretched out the mixture. It froze very fast. We did this before the last thing: eating!
We ate fast. We ate fast because it would melt or someone else would eat it! It was delicious. We made it one more time. It was also delicious. I wish I had an iron plate set at my home too.
